Paul Booth Artistic Legacy Memorial Fund
Julie Tapley-Booth and the Art & Design Department at Fort Lewis College wish to support students majoring in the Art Department who are interested in international travel, in honor of Paul Booth, professor of Communication and Design. Professor Booth joined FLC in 2007 and embodied the spirit of faculty engagement that defines our institution, from program development to study abroad opportunities.
He was instrumental in creating the Communication Design program, serving as internship coordinator since 2013 and as department chair from 2017 to 2021. Beyond campus, Paul ran his own design firm, Paul Booth Designs, where he worked extensively with nonprofit organizations to promote environmental causes.
His accomplishments as an artist and designer reflected the values of FLC, using creativity to serve communities and raise awareness of critical issues. This fund is a testament to Paul's dedication and honors his legacy in and out of the classroom.
